Tasting notes

The nose is full of blood plums and dark cocoa with a hint of pot pouri and red licorice.   The palate is raspberry coulis, with a savoury spice of black pepper and a brambly, earthy undertone.  The wine has a layer of gravelly tannin that melts away.
