A dark shade of garnet that is very enticing. The nose oozes dark cherry with a hint of maraschino cherry. The palate is rich, powerful and very long. The flavours begin with dark cherry and and a tannic grip that suggest improvement with some time in the cellar.
This is our third commercial release of Pf. A blend of Chardonnay (55%) Pinot Noir (35%) and Pinot Meunier (10%) with an oak component that adds a little extra tannin and subtle complexity, with fruit, yeast and richness that bubbles along with a very fine bead. Celebrate in style with this fine sparkling wine.
There is only a small quantity of this wine available. Limit 6 bottles per order.
Dark garnet colour. Aromas of bright red cherry and a hint of musk, very enticing! The palate has beautiful balance as it slides down revealing firstly maraschino cherry and then a little damsel plum. The finish is tight with great structure and oozing maraschino cherry showing palate weight, length and structure.
The light garnet colour gives no indication of the power and structure behind this wine. The aromas are of morello cherry with a hint of marzipan. The palate is BIG, starting with bright RED cherry and moving on to morello cherry with tight acid. The great tannic grip at the end suggests that this is a wine to age in the cellar for 5 to 10 years
