2008 Pinot Noir Clonal Blend
This is the second release of our favourite blend of Pinot Noir. This is a blend of clones from across the vineyard. It has a dark ruby colour with a nose of dark cherries. The palate is very long commencing with bright red berry flavours that move seamlessly to dark berry fruits and a hint of spice. In our opinion this is the finest expression of Pinot Noir yet seen from our vineyard.

For the first time this wine contains fruit from our latest grafts - the Pommard clone of Pinot Noir. This wine contains almost even amounts of each of our 6 Pinot clones. The bunches were destemmed and the whole berries had a 7 day prefermentation cold soak before the wild yeast started the fermentation. The wine was aged in 60% new French oak and 40% 2nd use casks.

Chemistry: 13.7% Alcohol by Volume, pH 3.43 and Total Acid 6.5g/L.
